Festival UnBound is the biggest undertaking Touchstone Theatre has ever dared dream up.  The idea emerged in 2015 during our last community-based project, Journey from the East, and has been in development for the past three years.  As we near the 10-day festival, coming October 4-13 with its 20+ events, there are many tasks that fill our days (and nights!) like rehearsals, promotion, ticket sales, and more. 

One big task is finding enough volunteers to help us carry out the ambitious festival.  Each event needs at least two volunteers to make it a success, while some, like the Closing Ceremony, need close to 50.  Volunteer tasks range from the usual like ushering and set up/tear down to more Festival UnBound-specific like blowing up oodles of orange balloons and helping with arts and crafts.  There really is something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned Touchstone volunteer or brand new to us.  It’s a fun way to help your community, meet new people, and get a behind the scenes look at this one-of-a-kind arts and civic minded festival.  We hope you’ll join us!
