How do you end ten days of epic art-making and community discussions around where we want to go as a community and how we might get there? Why, with an even more epic Closing Ceremony.
Taking over Payrow Plaza, the Closing Ceremony will invite the entire community to come see how the area has been transformed by artists and organizations throughout the week, and then the party really begins! Discover gems of art in action hidden in the nooks and corners around the library and City Hall. Take part in the rally for a positive future. There will be music and dance and a time to reflect and make our own pledges to making a better future. And it will all end in a dance party. What’s not to love?
I’m thrilled to be directing this epic closing to the Festival – it’s my chance to help give voice to our combined hopes and dreams for the future.
The Closing Ceremony takes place Sunday, October 13, 5:30 – 7:00p at Payrow Plaza.
