Poets, Troubadours, and Troublemakers is a collaboration with Godfrey Daniels to create original music dedicated to Festival UnBound’s mission of envisioning our future home. Godfrey Daniels is hosting a series of workshops for singer-songwriters by notable artists like John Gorka, Anne Hills, Suzzy Roche, and Lucy Wainwright Roche. The workshop attendees will create their own original songs, which will perform at venues across the Lehigh Valley during the festival.
Besides being my favorite project title in the whole festival, I’m just so happy we’re partnering with Godfrey Daniels, the Lehigh Valley’s original live music listening room. Music is such a powerful tool that captures our feelings or a moment in time, and, of course, nothing connects people better than the shared experience of enjoying live music together. I can’t wait to hear the original songs created during the workshop series and witness how their work moves the audience.
Poets, Troubadours, and Troublemakers performs as part of Festival UnBound on:
October 9, 8p at the Sigal Museum in Easton
October 10, 8p at The Lyric Room at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown
October 11, 8p at Godfrey Daniels in Bethlehem
